Commercial Manager
Full-time, £35,000, Fixed term for 2 years

Our Enterprise team is seeking to appoint a visionary, commercially minded person, who is passionate about the work of Urban Green Newcastle.

This new and exciting position will contribute significantly to the reinvention of the Urban Green Newcastle visitor attraction, hospitality and retail offer. The Commercial Manager will work closely with the Enterprise Director to develop, deliver and execute a strategy that will drive commercial success for Urban Green Newcastle. You will have great commercial acumen, a track record of creating profitable hospitality and visitor attractions with outstanding customer service, provide inspiring team leadership and be both an initiator and collaborator.

The role is full-time (37 hours per week) and is for a fixed term of two years.

Programme Manager
Full-time, £30,000, Fixed term for 2 years; consultancy also considered

We're about to embark on a number of projects and investments to develop visitor attractions, hospitality and retail offer across our parks and allotments. We're seeking to appoint an experienced, qualified project manager who is passionate about the work of Urban Green Newcastle. You will ensure the effective coordination of the Enterprise team's projects, establish a programme management office, and oversee this diverse range of commercial activity across our Charity.

You will have experience of managing complex projects across multiple workstreams to tight deadlines, monitoring detail and communicating in a clear and timely way with colleagues.

The role is full-time (37 hours per week) and is for a fixed term of two years.

Both posts are based at our offices in Jesmond Dene, Newcastle and will involve working across our estate of 33 parks and more than 60 allotments.
