Urban Green Newcastle is a pioneering charity set up in 2019 to look after the city’s parks and allotments. Our vision is for more people to enjoy and benefit from the beautiful open spaces in the city, and to ensure they are safe, welcoming and provide a great environment for wildlife and people which is valued by all.

Join the team to become part of an innovative movement to secure the future of parks, allotments and green spaces in Newcastle upon Tyne. 


Current Vacancies

We are looking for three new trustees.

We are keen to diversify the board and are looking for people with particular interests and experience in the
following areas:


• Environmental and sustainable land management, biodiversity and
nature conservation
• Community engagement
• Charity finance
• Commercial


Experience of organisational leadership and/or charity governance would be desirable. In addition to joining the Board, new Trustees will be asked to join one or more of the sub-committees.

The deadline for applications is midnight on Sunday 28 April 2024.

Interviews will be Wednesday 15 May.
