Free family nature activities and community litter pick – Elswick Park

Urban Green Newcastle are delighted to be able to offer free family, community and nature activities on Tuesdays in the school summer holidays in Elswick park and Walker park. We have been working in partnership with the Police and Crime Commissioner who have been a key funder.
Come along, have some fun in your local park, help out and find out more about Urban Green Newcastle. We’ll be in Elswick Park on the following times and dates over the summer holidays, look out for the Urban Green Newcastle gazebo:
- Tuesday 25th July – 14:00 – 16:00 – Bug hunt, clay bugs and community litter pick
- Tuesday 1st August – 10:00 – 12:00 – Flower / nature crowns and community litter pick
- Tuesday 8th August – 14:00 – 16:00 – Hapa Zome (flower and leaf pounding) and community litter pick
- Tuesday 15th August – 10:00 – 12:00 – Bird Spotting, bird masks and community litter pick
- Tuesday 22nd August – 14:00 – 16:00 – Clay nature imprints and community litter pick.
