Mental Elf 5k Fun Run and Charity Walk

Local mental health charity Tyneside & Northumberland Mind is hosting a Mental Elf Charity Fun Run on Sunday 3rd December at Exhibition Park in Newcastle upon Tyne to raise funds for local mental health services.
The Mental Elf Festive Fundraiser Fun Run (+ walk) invites local people to dress in festive costumes and walk or run their way around a 5km (or 1 mile) route around Exhibition Park and the Town Moor.
The event organisers says ‘Mental elf is all about promoting positive mental health, raising awareness and supporting our local charity with a fun filled event and whilst dress-up is not mandatory, we’d love to see friends, family and colleagues come together on December 3rd, and kick start their Christmas celebrations by raising funds to support the mental health of children and adults across Tyneside and Northumberland.
We’ll be welcoming all those attending with a warmup and hosting fancy dress competitions-including those of the four pawed variety, with a special prize to our biggest fundraiser and all runners receive our exclusive mental elf medal?to commemorate the day.
