We’re thrilled to be bringing the Newcastle Allotment & Garden Show back to Leazes Park for 2023 and to announce that entries are now open!
The Newcastle Allotment & Garden Show is back in Leazes Park for 2023! This September Urban Green Newcastle are bringing growers from across the region together to show off their best produce, and celebrate with a wide range of activities and entertainment for the whole family.
The competition judging takes place on Friday 15 September, and then the show will open to the public from 11am-4pm on Saturday 16 September. The day will be jam-packed, giving everyone the chance to admire the fantastic efforts of the entrants, visit stalls celebrating the best in local produce, and get stuck in with fun workshops.
This is a free family event which will include a variety of stalls, local producers and makers, food and drink, live music from local artists, workshops, talks, nature and well-being sessions, and family funfair rides. We will also be announcing the winners from the Allotment and Garden competition and there will be a chance to take a look at the entries.
