Rat Race – The Wall 2023

The Wall is an 70 mile ultra marathon that follows a route along Hadrians Wall and starts at Carlisle and finishes at Gateshead Quayside. The route goes through Tyne Riverside Country park and is the location of one of the events pit stops.
The event organisers say ‘Are you ready for an adventure? Take on the UK’s most iconic ultramarathon and conquer 70 stunning miles through historic Hadrian’s Wall country in a continuous fully supported and way marked journey. Run or trek this classic route in 24 hours!’
