Tennis For Free was established in 2004 to address the barriers for participation in Tennis, and to bring the benefits of playing tennis and becoming actively engaged in sport to as many young people and families as possible.
Tennis For Free works in partnership with local schools, tennis clubs and local authorities throughout the UK, providing free access to community tennis courts, free coach led group tennis sessions and free usage of equipment.
Who are the sessions for?
Children over the age of 12 and adults can take part in the sessions.
What will the sessions include?
The tennis session is a one-hour weekly session, running mixed ability group games and drills managed by fully trained professional coaches and supported by local volunteers. All equipment is provided to use free of charge.
Do I need any experience of playing tennis?
You don’t need any experience of playing tennis, the sessions will be tailor made to suit your level of experience.
How much does it cost?
There is no charge, the coach and equipment are provided free of charge.
