The Royal Route – Guided Walk by the Friends of Jesmond Dene

The Friends of Jesmond Dene are holding a ‘The Royal Route’ guided walk in Jesmond Dene on Sunday 20th August at 11am.
Join the Friends of Jesmond Dene and follow the route taken by the Prince and Princess of Wales on this day in 1884 when they officially opened the park. Starting from Heaton Park and finishing in Jesmond Dene. Stout shoes are advisable. Meet at 11am by the main gates of Heaton Park near the junction of Warwick Road and Heaton Park Road – what3words:///gifted.party.hood.
The walk will last about 2 hours. The walk is free, but donations to the Friends of Jesmond Dene would be very welcome. Booking is required and this can be done by sending an email to friends.of.jesmond.dene@gmail.com.
