TSMEE – Miniature Train Ride

TSMEE (Tyneside Society of Model and Experimental Engineers) is a group of people who make and run model locomotives. On the first Sunday of the month some of the members bring their miniature model train engines along to Exhibition Park to give rides to the public.
Most of the locomotives are steam engines, fired by coal to heat a boiler of water to create steam power – just like the real thing but smaller!
No need to book, just come along to the track behind Wylam Brewery between 11am & 3pm. (Children must be accompanied by an adult). Look out for the TSMEE sign.
