Hire Springbank Pavilion

Located in the much-loved Leazes Park, Springbank Pavilion is a versatile and flexible venue that lends itself well to a range of events and activities, with views over the park and picnic area.

Recently refurbished to accommodate our Springbank Pavilion arts & wellbeing programme in partnership with Newcastle Hospitals Charity, the space regularly hosts crafts workshops, meaning it caters brilliantly for groups and activities. With one large room (complete with tables and chairs) and a smaller room (kitted with foam floor mats, benches and coat hooks), the pavilion offers versatile space appropriate for activities such as yoga, toddler groups, small parties or a meeting space – amongst many more!

Externally, although all areas are open to the public, there is outdoor space that can also be utilised. The pavilion looks out over a fenced picnic area and backs onto a small, grassy lawn. It is also situated right next to Leazes Park’s children’s play area and a short walk from the lake.

Prices

The hire fees we currently offer are:

Hourly Rate: £25.00

Half Day Rate (4 hours) : £80.00

Full day Rate (8 hours) : £140.00

(We can offer a one off hire or regular hires.)

Springbank Pavilion is located in Leazes Park, near the children’s play area and family picnic area. The address of the park is:

Parking

There is a pay and display car park located at the entrance to Leazes Park with on-street parking on Richardson Road. This is also Terrace Place or Claremont Road car parks which are a 5-10 minute walk from the pavilion.

Food & Beverage

If you’d like catering for your event, then the Urban Green Café can provide a small selection of menu options if pre-ordered. To find out more about what they can offer, please register your interest in catering within your booking email.

Alternatively there is a small kitchenette on site complete with crockery, cutlery, kettle, hot drink urn and fridge, so you’re welcome to provide your own catering!
