Notice of Works: Havannah Nature Reserve from 10.01.22

Starting from Monday 10 January, Newcastle City Council will be carrying out works to deal with existing flooding on the Waggonway and to address the ongoing development of Newcastle Great Park, which will temporarily impact the access into Havannah and Three Hills Nature Reserve from Brunton Lane.

Works begin to desilt the Reigh Burn

In an effort to alleviate the long-standing flooding issues of the Reigh Burn, Urban Green Newcastle has appointed WL Straughan to carry out desilting works for around four weeks from Monday 10 January.
