Park visitors urged to take rubbish home in bid to stop littering

Urban Green Newcastle is calling on members of the public to show their support for parks by taking their litter home after visiting Newcastle’s green spaces.

Trial reopening of tennis courts in Newcastle’s parks

Urban Green Newcastle will begin a trial reopening of its tennis courts following the relaxation of lockdown guidance from central government. Clear instruction on the safe use of tennis courts has been provided on site to ensure park users can carry out social distancing and help prevent the spread of infection.
