Overview
The popular park has a play area, open grassland for informal recreation and ball games and a network of footpaths.
There is an active Friends of St Lawrence Park who organise events and activities in the park as well as coordinating volunteers to help with litter picking and maintenance.

The play area is popular with families and there is plenty of open space to burn off some energy
There aren't any public toilets within the park
After a trip to the park, why not head down to the Ouseburn for a bite to eat and maybe a drink or two at the Tyne Bar or Free Trade.
