Denton Dene South
Denton Dene South is a steep wooded dene and a popular place for walking and getting away from the bustle of city life.
Nature enthusiasts and walkers enjoy exploring the network of paths through the ancient woodland, to the west of Newcastle city centre. The ponds are home to a population of smooth and palmate newts and there is an abundance of birds and wildlife that can be seen.
