Nuns Moor Park, in the Arthurs Hill area of the city, is a thriving green space at the heart of the diverse community.
Description
Made up of informal grassed areas and planted trees, there is a play area and a good network of paths through the park linking Brighton Grove with the Town Moor.
Popular with dog walkers and families, Nuns Moor Park has an active group of volunteers and community groups with a range of play and craft activities for all ages. The Bike Garden, is a vibrant community space developed on the old bowling green and holds regular food growing activities. There is also a Community Orchard with varieties of trees and plants including cherry, pear, apple, quince, mulberry and hazelnut trees and wild flower meadow.

You can find over 35 varities of heritage fruits in the community orchard, many of which are not found in shops.
