Our Queen’s Platinum Jubilee beacon event on June 2nd will feature the official lighting of the Beacon, a carnival finale plus community stalls, food, and activities at Hodgkin Park, Benwell.
Notice of Works: Leazes Park from 19.04.22
From Tuesday 19 April we will be carrying out refurbishment works at the edge of the lake in Leazes Park to begin to restore it to it’s former glory.
Havannah and Three Hills Nature Reserve reopens following storm damage
After over 60 working days on the site, we are delighted to announce that we have now felled the trees which were identified as health and safety risks, which means that we are able to reopen Havannah Three Hills Nature Reserve for everyone to enjoy.
We’re set to plant over 5,000 new trees by the end of April
This Saturday, 26 March, marks the start of the final planting project which will see us surpass our target of planting 5,000 trees across the city by 2026!
